What to put on the list

- Personal or "shadow" tools that touched work data anyway
- Browser plugins and assistants that see tickets, email, or CRM
- MSP- or contractor-operated AI that touches client data
For each row: what it is, what data it can see, who owns it, when you review again.
Where tools hide
Expense reports, Slack shares, browser extension lists, and "we tried it once in a pilot" stories usually beat the org chart. Ask plainly: which AI tools touched customer or prospect data in the last 90 days?
Governance = dated list + owners
