Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains your rights regarding refunds for subscriptions to the Cardinal platform and related services ("Services") offered by Scarlet Risk, Inc. ("Scarlet Risk," "we," "us," or "our"). By subscribing to the Services, you agree to the terms of this policy.
1. General policy
Scarlet Risk offers monthly subscription plans with fees billed in advance. We aim for fairness and transparency in all billing matters. Refunds are provided under the specific conditions outlined below.
2. No refunds for current billing period
Fees already paid for the current monthly billing period are non-refundable. When you cancel a subscription, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you retain full access until that date. No prorated refunds are issued for partial months.
3. Exceptional refunds
We may, at our sole discretion, issue a refund in the following circumstances:
- A billing error or duplicate charge caused by a system or processing issue.
- A documented service outage or failure to provide core platform functionality for a material portion of the billing period.
- A charge that occurs after you have cancelled your subscription in accordance with the cancellation process.
4. Trial periods
Where a free or discounted trial period is offered, no payment is required during the trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to the selected paid plan and the applicable fees will be charged. Trial-period charges are not refundable once the trial has converted.
5. Annual or prepaid plans
If we offer annual or multi-month prepaid plans in the future, refunds for those plans will be calculated on a pro-rata basis for the unused portion, less any applicable processing fees, unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase.
6. Third-party purchases
If you purchase Scarlet Risk services through a third-party marketplace, reseller, or partner, refund requests must be directed to that third party in accordance with their policies. We are not responsible for refunds processed through intermediaries.
7. How to request a refund
To request a refund, contact us at billing@scarletrisk.com with your account email, the date of the charge, and the reason for the request. We review all requests within 10 business days.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
