See what compliance actually costs you.
Compare your current path — consultant, GRC tool, or spreadsheets — against Scarlet Risk. Nothing leaves your browser.
What this compliance cost comparison estimates
The ROI calculator compares modeled annual costs for a consultant-led path, a GRC-tool path, or an internal spreadsheet process with the Scarlet Risk amount shown in the results. It uses your selected team size, frameworks, and vendor count. These are planning assumptions stored in the calculator, not a measurement of your current spending or a quote from a competitor.
Team size changes the model’s scaling factor and the suggested Scarlet tier. The options with a plus sign use the displayed number as the calculation input, not an individualized estimate for every larger organization. Adding frameworks or vendors changes the modeled workload; it does not establish that those frameworks legally apply to your business.
What goes into the displayed amounts
The consultant path adds framework-specific modeled costs, scaled by team size, and vendor-review overhead. The GRC-tool path uses framework cost assumptions plus an implementation allowance and vendor overhead. The spreadsheet path models internal effort and vendor-review time. Selecting no framework still uses a baseline planning amount; it does not mean the comparison becomes a zero-cost scenario.
The Scarlet amount combines twelve months of the model’s selected subscription price with the report amounts selected by its rules. The reports shown beneath the result explain part of that total. This is the calculator’s existing comparison logic, not confirmation of your account’s entitlements or a checkout quotation; review current pricing before purchasing.
How to interpret savings responsibly
Annual savings is the modeled current-path amount minus the modeled Scarlet amount, with negative savings displayed as zero. The percentage is rounded to a whole number. A large difference describes the assumptions in this model; it is not evidence that you will recover that amount in cash or receive equivalent services from every provider.
Compare like-for-like scope before budgeting. Independent audit fees, remediation work, internal staff time, legal review, and specialist advice may not be covered in the same way on both sides. The model does not inspect your controls or determine how much implementation work remains.
Use the result to prepare a budget discussion
Run several scenarios with the same framework scope and review how team size, vendor count, and delivery path affect the estimate. Then gather actual proposals and your own effort records. Separate work that can be assisted by software from work requiring an assessor, a business owner, or a technical implementation team.
The controls recalculate the comparison locally without a submission form. No signup is needed to explore a scenario. The output is a planning aid for a conversation about compliance and risk work, not a guarantee of savings, audit readiness, or certification.
